All proceeds go directly to the Dancing CEOs campaign raising funds for Women's Legal Service Queensland to provide free legal and support services to women and children impacted by domestic violence.
Terms and Conditions
The Raffle will be conducted by Women’s Legal Service Queensland Limited, ABN 72 685 598 982. Women’s Legal Service Queensland Limited is a registered charity.
The Raffle starts at 9am AEST on Tuesday 17 December 2024 and closes at 9am AEST on Thursday, 5 June 2025. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Open to residents of Queensland (QLD), New South Wales (NSW) and Victoria (VIC) aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle. Ticket sales are NOT PERMITTED for residents of Western Australia (WA), Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Northern Territory (NT), Tasmania (TAS) or South Australia (SA).
There are 5,000 tickets available for purchase at a cost of $25 each, or 5 tickets for $100, 15 tickets for $250, 35 tickets for $500.
To enter, eligible entrants must, during the Promotion Period, purchase one or more raffle tickets from the raffle website.
There is no limit to the number of entries per entrant, subject to raffle ticket availability.
If requested by the Promoter, entrants must produce proof of age and residency prior to being awarded a Prize.
Tickets cannot be purchased by any individual involved in the organisation of the raffle or the draw (including RaffleTix). In addition, tickets cannot be purchased by the association conducting or benefiting from the raffle, or Women’s Legal Service Qld Board Members or Management, including immediate family members*
*Immediate Family means a person’s spouse and family members residing at the same premises as the person.
The Draw will take place at 12pm AEST on Thursday, 5 June 2025, at 5 Ponsonby Street, Annerley QLD 4103.
Numbered Raffle Ticket stubs will be drawn at random from a barrel. The Prize Winner will be announced verbally at the time of the draw. Prize Winner will be notified by telephone and in writing within four (4) business days of being drawn (by 9 June 2025). The prize winning number will be published on the Raffle Website.
Winners have 3 years (36 months) from the date the draw is conducted in which to claim their prize. If the prize has been repurposed after the 1 year mark, the organisation will need to provide the winner with a prize of equivalent or greater value.
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
As per the prize details, travel is preferred over the period 12 - 14 September 2025. Accommodation will not be redeemable during school holidays, Easter or the Festive season. If the winner is outside of the Brisbane metro, they will need to arrange their own transport to Brisbane, at their own expense.
