The Multicultural Disability Advocacy Association (MDAA) is a state-wide not-for-profit organisation that aims to promote, protect, and secure the rights and interests of people with disability, their families and carers, with a focus on supporting those from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and Non-English Speaking Backgrounds. MDAA has worked for over 25 years to become a leading organisation advocating at both individual and systemic levels for better outcomes and improved access to services, opportunities, and participation for our clients. MDAA strives to ensure that our programs respond to the needs of the community in a safe and supported environment by promoting community participation and inclusion.
Our vision is a society where everyone, regardless of background or disability feels welcomed included and supported. MDAA services include individual advocacy, systemic advocacy, advocacy development, Disability Advocacy Royal Commission, NDIS Appeals and Review, and capacity building projects.
