About Carina State School P&C Association

We are a P&C Association for Carina State School in QLD. We are a not- for-profit organization that works in productive partnership with the school principal and the community to promote the interests of the school, and facilitate its development and further improvement, to achieve the best possible outcomes for students. This includes running fundraisers such as raffles.

Carina State School P&C Association is excited to announce our “2024 Carina Carnival ~ Around the World”. Our intention with the 2024 carnival is to provide our community with an opportunity to show our strong community spirit, our focus on inclusivity, and most importantly, have lots of fun! We’ll see our school community come together with sponsors, supporters, families, past students, and local community groups in a day-long celebration of our local area, and the over 50 cultures that we have.
With over 1,000 visitors to our 2015 and 2017 carnivals and having a 30% growth in the school community since 2017, we are hoping 2024 will be our best carnival ever!
We are looking forward to providing great food, entertainment, shopping, & interactive activities ~ all with a very unique international flavour. There will also be an amazing showcase of student talent, including performances from our school band, choir, and class performances. And of course, there will be the traditional fete stalls, show bags, and a fantastic range of amusement rides to suit kids of all ages.

With our Carnival Raffle 'Family or Fitness', we hope to raise $8000. All carnival profits will be from 2024, including those from the raffle, will be used for much needed refurbishment and upgrades on the school playgrounds, starting with the prep area.
