At Bellevue Hill Public School all students highly anticipate the Year 6 Fete. For those students in Year 6, the fete is the highlight of the school calendar. It is the culmination of a Term 3 conceptual unit of work that enhances entrepreneurial and technological skills. The design and build components also see innovative and creative game development.
Due to current DoE guidelines only students in Year 5 and 6 participated in Tuesday's fete festivities without the customary fundraising component.
Throughout the year, Year 6 fundraise to support their graduation. The fete is a major fundraising opportunity for Year 6. There were 14 stalls and each of the 67 students had an activity. This meant there were lots of prizes organised for the day.
Traditionally, prizes are won by students at the fete. These prizes have been generously donated by Year 6 parents or sourced by Year 6 students.
These prizes have been organised into an online student raffle by the Year 6 Parent Fundraising Committee. This makes it difficult to know the exact value. Nominal values have been attributed to each prize that is not a gift voucher. All entries will be entered into a computer generated randomizer and winners will be notified next Friday, the last day of school.
We ask that you kindly support our Year 6 students by purchasing raffle tickets and any promotion of the raffle to family and friends would also be appreciated.
In addition, your generosity will be appreciated for the customary Year 6 Fete Parent raffle that is scheduled in Term 4. This raffle will also be via an online service. Details will be provided in Term 4.
