SurfAid's mission is to improve the health, wellbeing and resilience of families living in isolated regions connected to us through surfing. As surfers, we get to go and surf perfect waves that may be situated in remote areas of Indonesia and other countries. Most locals don't see the tourist revenues that should be going back into those very communities. 

In Indonesia, a mother dies in childbirth every three hours and 20 babies die every hour. Half of these babies are less than one month old. In remote areas, these figures are worse.

Our team will be competing in the Urban Surf Melbourne event and it's our mission to not only win the surf comp but to win the fundraising competition as well.
