Funds raised from this raffle will go toward Stars of Nowra which is a community fundraising event for Cancer Council NSW, since commencing in 2017 the event has raised over $350,000. Just like on the television show ‘Dancing with the Stars’, 11 prominent Shoalhaven community members work with a professional dance instructor over 12 weeks to choreograph and learn a dance routine, which they then perform in front of a panel of judges. The dance couples will compete for four awards: Judges Choice Award, People’s Choice Award, Highest Fundraiser and Best Costume. In the lead up to the event and on the evening, the local 'stars' commit to raise money for Cancer Council NSW to go towards our local Cancer Council support services in the Shoalhaven… which local STAR will be crowned this year’s winner?
