The Stawell Athletic Club Inc and the Stawell Football Netball Club Inc have joined forces to create a joint steering committee with the initial intention of raising sufficient funds to have an electronic scoreboard installed at Central Park. The electronic scoreboard will not only service the needs of both clubs during football season and the Easter Gift carnival but will be a valuable community asset year round, lending itself to supporting educational, social, and fundraising activities by other local community organisations and Northern Grampians Shire Council.

The current electronic football scoreboard is operated and maintained by Stawell Football Netball Club Inc and the intention is this scoreboard will remain in place. The current Stawell Athletic Club Inc scoreboard is housed in a wooden structure erected in 1926 and was manually operated up until 2008. Our intentions are to build a new digital scoreboard to be built adjacent to the Stawell Athletic Club Hall of Fame to compliment and modernise existing scoreboard capabilities. The existing scoreboard will continue to play an important role in the pageantry and traditions of the Easter Gift Carnival

Promoter

Central Park Electronic Scoreboard Raffle will be conducted by Stawell Athletic Club Inc (ABN: 63 873 253 543) of 6 Main Street, Stawell, Vic. The benefiting organisation is Stawell Athletic Club Inc a not-for-profit organisation.

Promotion Period

The Raffle starts at 1pm AEST on Thursday, 25 April 2024. The Raffle closes at 11.59pm AEST on Sunday, 20 April 2025. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Relevant States/Entry Restrictions

Entry is open to residents of the following States/Territories aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.

• Queensland (QLD)
• Tasmania (TAS)
• Victoria (VIC)
• New South Wales (NSW) 

Residents of any other States and Territories not listed above are not permitted to enter the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.

The following people are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

• Office holders, committee members and employees of the Stawell Athletic Club;
• Office holders and employees of the Stawell Football Netball Club;
• Employees and Contractors of RaffleTix;
• Any other person directly engaged in managing the raffle or conducting the draw; or
• Any immediate family members of any of the above. Immediate family means a person's spouse (including de-facto spouse), parents, children, siblings (whether full or half blood) and any other family members residing at the same premises as the person.

The following entities are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

• The Organisation conducting the raffle;
• The Organisation benefiting from the raffle.

The prizes, including all relevant Terms and Conditions relating to the prizes, can be seen under the Prizes heading on the raffle website.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. Prize images may be for illustrative purposes only and are not necessarily an image of the actual prize.

Maximum number of tickets

2,000 tickets are available for purchase.

Draw Details

The Draw will take place at 2.30pm AEST on Monday, 21 April 2025 at Central Park Stawell, 6 Main Street, Stawell VIC 3380.

Draw Method

A barrel draw will be conducted. First prize will be drawn first followed by all other prizes in descending order.

Notification and Publication of Winners

Winner will be contacted by phone and email within 3 business days of being drawn. Prize winners' name will be published on the Raffle Website within 3 business days of being drawn.

Prize Claim Date

Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize.

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
