Promoter
Pioneers Major Lottery 2024 will be conducted by Pioneers Basketball Club Incorporated ABN 99 303 085 691. The benefitting organisation is Pioneers Basketball Club Incorporated. The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.
Promotion Period
The Raffle starts at 9am ACT on Thursday, 27 June 2024. The Raffle closes at 5pm ACT on Monday, 14 October 2024. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Relevant States
Entry is open to residents of the following States/Territories aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle:
- South Australia (SA) Permit: M14610
Residents of any other States and Territories not listed above are not permitted to enter the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.
Maximum Number of Tickets
5,000 tickets are available for purchase. The following ticket pricing bundles are offered:
- 1 tickets for $20
- 2 tickets for $40
- 3 tickets for $60
- 4 tickets for $80
- 6 tickets for $100
- 15 tickets for $250
- 30 tickets for $500
- 60 tickets for $1,000
- 300 tickets for $5,000
The Raffle will close at the end of the Promotion Period or when all tickets are sold, whichever comes first.
Maximum Number of Entries
No maximum applies. Participants may purchase as many tickets as they like while the Raffle remains open, and tickets are available.
Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of the Relevant State(s) aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.
The following people are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:
- Members of the Management Committee from the Organisation conducting the raffle or benefitting from the raffle;
- Employees and Contractors of RaffleTix;
- Any other person directly engaged in managing the raffle or conducting the draw.
The following entities are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:
- The Organisation conducting the raffle;
- The Organisation benefiting from the raffle.
Verification Requirements
If requested by the Promoter, a person drawn as the winner of a prize must produce proof of age and residency prior to being awarded a prize. If they do not do this promptly to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, the Promoter may redraw the prize subject to the relevant regulatory approvals, in which case that person forfeits any right to claim the prize.
The Prizes
- First Prize: MG ZS Excite
- Second Prize: $3,500 Cash
- Third Prize: $1,500 Cash
Prize values are accurate as at the commencement date for the Raffle. All costs, fees, charges or expenses associated with the Prize(s), which are not specified, are the responsibility of the Winner(s).
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter will substitute it for another prize of equal or higher value (at the Promoter’s absolute discretion), subject to regulatory approval.
Draw Details
The Draw will take place at 5.15pm ACT on Monday, 14 October, 2024 at Carlin & Gazzard, 116-138 Commercial Street East, Mount Gambier SA 5290.
The draw will take place in accordance with State Government regulations. The draw will be conducted by the Promoter.
Draw Method
A manual draw will be conducted. First prize will be drawn first followed by all other prizes in descending order.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winner will be contacted by phone and email within 3 business days of being drawn, by Thursday, 17 October 2024. Prize winners' name will be published on the Raffle Website and the Pioneers Basketball Club website and Facebook pages, and the SE Voice by Thursday, 17 October 2024.
Prize Claim Date
Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize unless the winner resides in ACT (if eligible).

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions a redraw will occur. In the instance that the Prize is not claimed within 12 months of the date the winner is notified, a redraw will occur on Friday, 17 October 2025 at Carlin & Gazzard, 116-138 Commercial Street East, Mount Gambier SA 5290. Results will be published in the SE Voice on Tuesday, 21 October 2025. In the instance of an Unclaimed Prize Draw, winners will be notified as per the arrangements of the initial draw.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a Dispute, the raffle Promoter will attempt to resolve the dispute directly with the Complainant. If a satisfactory outcome between the parties is unable to be achieved, the Promoter will liaise directly with the relevant State and Territory Authorities.
Additional Terms – Privacy
The Promoter and its authorised marketing partners reserve the right to send marketing communications to any entrant that opts-in to receive communications from the Promoter and its authorised marketing partners. The entrant can advise the Promoter at any time if they no longer wish to receive this information, by contacting the Promoter's Privacy Officer at hello@pioneersbasketball.com.au. The Promoter and its authorised marketing partners may continue to send communications to the entrant for an indefinite period unless and until advised otherwise by the entrant.
