About the Raffle
Promoter
The Water Polo Australia Raffle: Olympic Games Paris 2024 Hospitality and Travel Packages will be conducted by Water Polo Australia Limited, ABN 86 159 573 403. The benefitting organisation is Water Polo Australia Limited, a not-for-profit organisation. Proceeds will be used to support the Australian Water Polo teams and the athletes and the Australian Water Polo League Clubs to prepare and compete.
Promotion Periods
There will be three raffles in the series:
- Raffle #1
- Raffle #2
- Raffle #3
Each raffle will be conducted as a separate raffle event that requires separate entry.
Raffle #1 starts at 7am AEST on Monday, 28 August 2023. The Raffle closes at 12pm AEDT Friday, 6 October 2023.
No entries will be accepted after this time.
Relevant States/Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Northern Territory, Tasmania, aged 18 years or older.
Tickets cannot be purchased by any individual involved in the organisation of the raffle or the draw (including RaffleTix). In addition, tickets cannot be purchased by the association conducting or benefiting from the raffle, or its Management Committee including immediate family members.
The Prize
Discover 4 star - 4 day / 3 Night Accommodation Package at the Hôtel Renaissance Paris La Défense (4-star) from 6 August 2024 to 9 August 2024, for 2 people. Prize includes airport transfers and 2 tickets to each of:
- Water Polo Quarter Final (2 matches) WP027 (07/08 14:00 – 17:00) Category C
- Table Tennis: Semi Final TTE30 (08/08 10:00 – 13:00) Category C
- Athletics: Semi Finals & Finals ATH14 (08/08 19:00 – 22:00) Category C
- Classification & Semi Final (08/08 13:00 – 16:00) Category B – Includes access to Clubhouse 24
- Classification & Semi Final (08/08 18:00 – 21:00) Category B – Includes access to Clubhouse 24
PLUS $10,000 (AUD) in flight credit to get you and a friend to Paris and back. You choose the dates to make this a trip of a lifetime!
Maximum number of tickets
6,250 tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $20 each or 3 tickets for $55, 6 tickets for $100, 10 tickets for $150.
Draw Details
The Draw will take place at 1pm AEDT on Friday, 6 October 2023 at Accor Stadium, Level 3 East, Edwin Flack Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW 2127.
An electronic draw will be conducted. First and only prize will be drawn first.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winner will be contacted by phone and email and listed on this website and the Water Polo Australia Ltd Facebook page within 3 business days of being drawn (by Wednesday, 11 October 2023). Please check the website and the aforementioned Facebook page for details.
Prize Claim Date
Winner has 1 month from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize. Due the nature of the prize i.e.: Travel Prize with specific dates to a specific event, Winners have one (1) month from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize.
If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by one (1) month after the applicable Raffle draw, a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw three (3) days after claim date, at Accor Stadium, Level 3 East, Edwin Flack Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW 2127. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within one (1) month from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
