Every day in Australia, two people are diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and two people die of MND.
By supporting this raffle, you are helping us fund vital MND Research into an effective treatment or cure.
The NTI MND Research Grant and other grants funded by this raffle, are provided to researchers right here in Australia who are doing all they can to beat this beast of a disease.
About the Raffle
Promoter
The NTI MND Research Raffle 2024 will be conducted by the The MND and Me Foundation via its nominee, Jane Milne. The benefitting organisation is The MND and Me Foundation (ABN 34 148 877 141). The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.
Promotion Period
The Raffle starts at 9 am (AEST) on Monday, 4 March 2024. The Raffle closes at 12pm (AEST) on Sunday, 7 July 2024. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Relevant States/Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of the following States/Territories: aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.
- Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
- New South Wales (NSW)
- Northern Territory (NT)
- Queensland (QLD)
- South Australia (SA)
- Tasmania (TAS)
- Victoria (VIC)
Residents of any other States and Territories not listed above are not permitted to enter the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.
The following people are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:
- Members of the Management Committee conducting the raffle from The MND and Me Foundation Limited;
- Employees of The MND and Me Foundation Limited and Employees and Contractors of RaffleTix;
- Any other person directly engaged in managing the organisation of the raffle or conducting the draw; or
- Any immediate family members of any of the above. Immediate family means a person's spouse (including de-facto spouse), parents, children, sibling (whether full or half blood) and any other family members residing at the same premises as the person.

Customised 1946 Ford Jail Bar 4 X 4 Dual Cab, powered by a Isuzu 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine, 5 speed manual transmission, air bag suspension, 17.5 X 6.00 six stud wheels on 37: all terrain tyres, 24 & 12 volt electrical system, air bag cab mounts, air suspension front seats, electric windows, central locking with remote keyless entry, centre console cooler box, air conditioning, multimedia system with LCD screen, Bluetooth, satellite navigation, 4,500kg rated towbar, 6,500kg winch, styleside body and satin black in colour.
Also included:
- delivery within valid state of entry
- 12 months registration and insurance
- a current certificate of road worthiness
- a current written market valuation from an appropriate valuer
- a warranty for a period of three months after the day it is delivered to winner
- a security interest certificate under the Motor Vehicles Securities Act 1986.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. Prize images may be for illustrative purposes only and are not necessarily an image of the actual prize.
Maximum number of tickets
66,000 tickets are available for purchase at a cost of:
- 1 ticket for $20
- 2 tickets for $40
- 3 tickets for $50
- 6 tickets for $100
- 18 tickets for $250
- 50 tickets for $500
- 100 tickets for $1000

Draw Details
The Draw will take place at 1.00pm (AEST) on Sunday, 7 July 2024, at Reid Park, Townsville QLD 4810.
Draw Method
A numbered Raffle Ticket stub will be drawn at random from a barrel. First prize will be drawn first.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winner will be contacted by phone and email within 3 business days of being drawn. Prize winners' name will be published on the Raffle Website and the MND and Me Foundation Facebook page within 3 business days of being drawn.
Prize Claim Date
Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize unless the winner resides in ACT (if eligible).
If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by 11.59pm on Wednesday, 7 August 2024 a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 1pm AEST on Friday, 9 August 2024, at The MND and Me Foundation Limited, Shop 5 28-32 Cavendish Road, Coorparoo QLD 4151. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
