The NTI MND Research Grant and other grants funded by this raffle, are provided to researchers right here in Australia who are doing all they can to beat this beast of a disease.
About the Raffle
Promoter
The NTI MND Research Raffle 2022 will be conducted by The MND and Me Foundation via its nominee, Jane Milne. The benefitting organisation is The MND and Me Foundation (ABN 34 148 877 141). The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.
Beneficiary
The money raised from this raffle will go towards MND and Me Foundation to support the NTI MND Research Grant and the Fat Rabbit MND Research Grant.
Promotion Period
The Raffle starts at 9 am (AEST) on Friday, 1 April 2022. Except in SA, where the raffle will start at 5pm (AEST) on Thursday, 7 April 2022. The Raffle closes at 12 pm (AEST) on Sunday, 10 July 2022. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Relevant States/Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria, aged 18 years or older.
Note: Due to government regulations, Western Australian residents are not permitted to purchase tickets in the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.
Tickets cannot be purchased by any individual involved in the management or organisation of the raffle or the draw. In addition, tickets cannot be purchased by Directors, Management, Committee Members, Staff, or Contractors of The MND and Me Foundation Limited or RaffleTix, or their immediate families, i.e. those living with them.
The Prize
2021 Isuzu NPS 75/45-155 Crew Cab 4 X 4 Trayback fitted with a Custom Tray Body and an Austral Motorhome Slide on Camper valued at $265,000 (excluding GST). The prize includes up to $10,000 for registration, delivery, 12 months of insurance, 12 months of roadside assistance and as the vehicle requires a special class of licence to drive, NTI will contribute $500 for the raffle winner to obtain the correct license (if required) to drive this vehicle. Total Prize value is $275,000 (excluding GST).
Also included:
- a current certificate of road worthiness
- a current written market valuation from an appropriate valuer
- a warranty for a period of three months after the day it is delivered to winner
- a security interest certificate under the Motor Vehicles Securities Act 1986.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
Maximum number of tickets
35,000 tickets are available for purchase at a cost of:
1 ticket for $25.00 ($25.00 per ticket)
2 tickets for $50.00 ($25.00 per ticket)
3 tickets for $75.00 ($25.00 per ticket)
5 tickets for $100.00 ($20.00 per ticket)
12 tickets for $200.00 ($16.67 per ticket)
20 tickets for $300.00 ($15.00 per ticket)
35 tickets for $500.00 ($14.29 per ticket)
Draw Details
The Draw will take place at 1.00pm (AEST) on Sunday, 10 July 2022, at Reid Park, Townsville QLD 4810.
Draw Method
A numbered Raffle Ticket stub will be drawn at random from a barrel. First prize will be drawn first.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winner will be contacted by phone and email and listed on this website and the MND and Me Foundation Facebook page. Please check the website and the aforementioned Facebook page for details.
Winner will be published in the Australian newspaper on Friday, 15 July 2022.
Prize Claim Date
Winner has 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, except if the winner is from the ACT.
If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by 11.59pm on Wednesday,10 August 2022 a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 2pm AEST on Friday, 12 August 2022, at The MND and Me Foundation Limited, Shop 5 28-32 Cavendish Road, Coorparoo QLD 4151. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.

There is an agreement with RaffleTix (ABN 24 623 531 340) to promote or conduct this raffle for reward.
