About the Raffle

KNIP is a charity fundraiser hosted by Jensens Group Pty Ltd (Organiser) in support of The National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The research the NBCFAU is doing could change the lives of so many women and men. We hope the money we raise this year gets them one step closer to ZERO deaths from Breast Cancer. 

Breast Cancer affects 1 in 7 women and about 1 in 500 men. With an average of 58 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every day, many of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, either through our personal journey, a close relative or friend, or coworker. The statistics speak for themselves.

The Jensens Group Restaurants and Bar, Jensens and Papa J's and Bixie Colour will be lighting themselves up pink again this October.

We started this fundraiser in 2022, managing to raise a massive $115,000.00 for The National Breast Cancer Foundation. We brought KNIP back for 2023 with a goal of $250,000.00 and our final amount we raised was $290,000.00.

We know we aim high and strive to better ourselves each year. We hope by the 1st November 2024 we can announce to you that we again smashed our goal for another year.

Every dollar counts in the hope to Nip Cancer in the Butt.

Promoter

The KNIP Raffle 2024 will be conducted by The Jensens Group Pty Ltd in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The benefitting organisation is The National Breast Cancer Foundation, ABN 37 144 841 707. The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.

Promotion Period

The Raffle starts at 12:01am (AEDT) on 30 September 2024. The Raffle closes at 9:00pm (AEDT) on 1st November 2024. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Relevant States/Entry Restrictions

Entry is open to residents of the following States/Territories: aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.

• New South Wales
• Queensland
• Victoria
• Tasmania

Residents of any other States and Territories not listed above are not permitted to enter the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.

The following people are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

• Members of the Management Committee from the Organisation conducting the raffle (Jensens Group Pty Ltd)
• Members of the Management Committee benefitting from the raffle (NBCF);
• Employees, Committee Members and Contractors of Jensens Group Pty Ltd and RaffleTix;
• Any other person directly engaged in managing the raffle or conducting the draw; or
• Any immediate family members of any of the above. Immediate family means a person's spouse (including de-facto spouse), parents, children, and any other family members residing at the same premises as the person.

The following entities are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

• The Organisation conducting the raffle;
• The Organisation benefiting from the raffle.

The Prizes

The prizes, including all relevant Terms and Conditions relating to the prizes, can be seen under the Prizes heading on the raffle website. Terms and Conditions are subject to the prize donor.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash/ vouchers. Prize images may be for illustrative purposes only and are not necessarily an image of the actual prize.

Maximum number of tickets

34,394 tickets are available for purchase.

Draw Details

The Draw will take place at 9:15pm AEDT on 1st November 2024 on Clear View Sydney Harbour cruises.

Draw Method

An electronic draw will be conducted. As the draw is online, this is computer generated and unable to be tampered by the organiser. To ensure fairness and legitimacy, we will have a third-party present at the time of draw who will be initiating the draw of the raffle. No person affiliated with the organisation of the KNIP raffle will be activating the draw raffle feature, however, they will be present and announcing winners.

Notification and Publication of Winners

We try our best to ensure winners are notified immediately at time of drawing.

As this will be on LIVESTREAM we will be unable to ensure winners are notified by KNIP personal first, however, after the draw is finalised our KNIP team will contact our winners by their provided details. Winners’ names are published immediately due to the nature of a livestream. Upon finalisation of KNIP raffle 2024 our Winners (including name and ticket number) will be published to KNIP social media platform, KNIP website and RaffleTix Knip webpage.

By purchasing a ticket you agree to your name and ticket number being published.

Prize Claim Date

Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize. Prizes must be collected in person (where applicable). A pickup location will be provided for each respective prize. 

If a winner is present at the draw or otherwise readily identified, prizes will be transferred to the winner within 28 days of the draw.

If a Prize Winner is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to re-draw the prize.

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date, the Promoter will sell or otherwise dispose of the prize (subject to the relevant regulatory approval, if required).
