About Pemberton Youth Emergency Service Cadets
Pemberton Youth Emergency Service Cadets is a volunteer-run not for profit, registered with ACNC and an Incorporated Association. We teach local youth aged 11 to 17 years emergency service response and management skills, with our Volunteer Instructors from St John Ambulance Pemberton, DFES Bushfire Service Pemberton, DFES State Emergency Service Manjimup, and DFES Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services Pemberton.
Due to a lack of protective clothing and equipment, training sessions have been heavily controlled and largely classroom-based for Volunteer Cadet and Volunteer Instructor safety. We are fundraising to purchase these items and hoping to raise $15,000. With full Personal Protective Clothing and equipment, Pemberton YES Cadets will be able to carry out more realistic practical training.
Cadets that learn these skills will not only be safer individuals (as they learn how to assess risk better than most), but they will also be an asset to the community should an incident or emergency occur. Cadets will be able to assist people in need in their community and understand first aid principles and response. Cadets will understand fire in the environment, and they will know emergency protocols for all responding agencies.
Terms and Conditions
A percentage of proceeds of this lottery will be paid to RaffleTix Holdings Pty Ltd as a professional fundraiser. For any enquiries contact Pemberton Youth Emergency Service Cadets Incorporated on the permit holder’s phone number.
Promoter
5 Pemberton Holidays Raffle will be conducted by Pemberton Youth Emergency Service Cadets. The benefitting organisation is Pemberton Youth Emergency Service Cadets ABN 25 885 254 499. The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.
Promotion Period
The Raffle starts at 05 April 2024. The Raffle closes at 10 June 2024. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Relevant States
Entry is open to residents of Western Australia aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.
Residents of any other States and Territories not listed above are not permitted to enter the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.
Maximum Number of Tickets
10,000 tickets are available for purchase.
The ticket price options can be seen under the Buy Tickets section on the raffle website.
The Raffle will close at the end of the Promotion Period or when all tickets are sold, whichever comes first.
Maximum Number of Entries
No maximum applies. Participants may purchase as many tickets as they like while the Raffle remains open, and tickets are available.
Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of the Relevant State(s) aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.
The following people are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:
- An Organisation on behalf of which the lottery is conducted (or a person acting on behalf of the organisation) shall not purchase tickets or otherwise acquire tickets in the lottery. (Does not preclude a member of the organisation purchasing tickets on their own behalf).;
- Employees and Contractors of RaffleTix or any immediate family members. Immediate family means a person's spouse (including de-facto spouse), parents, children, and any other family members residing at the same premises as the person.
The following entities are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:
- The Organisation conducting the raffle;
- The Organisation benefiting from the raffle.
Verification Requirements
If requested by the Promoter, a person drawn as the winner of a prize must produce proof of age and residency prior to being awarded a prize. If they do not do this promptly to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, the Promoter may redraw the prize subject to the relevant regulatory approvals, in which case that person forfeits any right to claim the prize.
The Prizes
The prizes, including all relevant Terms and Conditions relating to the prizes, can be seen under the Prizes heading on the raffle website.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. Prize images may be for illustrative purposes only and are not necessarily an image of the actual prize.
Draw Details
The Draw will take place online at 21 Bendotti Court Pemberton, Western Australia.
The draw will take place in accordance with State Government regulations. The draw will be conducted by the Promoter.
Draw Method
An electronic draw will be conducted. First prize will be drawn first followed by all other prizes in descending order.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winner will be contacted by phone and email within 3 business days of being drawn. Prize winners' name will be published on the Raffle Website.
Prize Claim Date
Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize (if eligible).
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a Dispute, the raffle Promoter will attempt to resolve the dispute directly with the Complainant. If a satisfactory outcome between the parties is unable to be achieved, the Promoter will liaise directly with the relevant State and Territory Authorities.
Additional Terms – Privacy
The Promoter and its authorised marketing partners reserve the right to send marketing communications to any entrant that opts-in to receive communications from the Promoter and its authorised marketing partners. The entrant can advise the Promoter at any time if they no longer wish to receive this information, by contacting the Promoter's Privacy Officer at yescadetpemberton@gmail.com. The Promoter and its authorised marketing partners may continue to send communications to the entrant for an indefinite period unless and until advised otherwise by the entrant.
