About the Raffle
Promoter
The Help Us, Help Them Raffle will be conducted by Jeremiah House VPS (Vulnerable Persons Service). The benefitting organisation is Jeremiah House VPS (Vulnerable Persons Service), ABN 50 628 046 024. The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.
Promotion Period
The Raffle starts at 9am (AEST) Monday, 8th April 2024. The Raffle closes at 11.59pm (AEST) on Monday, 31st March 2025. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Relevant States/Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria aged 18 years or older.
Note: Due to government regulations, residents of Northern Territory, Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia are not permitted to purchase tickets in the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.
The following people are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:
- Members of the Management Committee from the Organisation conducting the raffle or benefitting from the raffle;
- Employees and Contractors of RaffleTix;
- Any other person directly engaged in managing the raffle or conducting the draw; or
- Any immediate family members of any of the above. Immediate family means a person's spouse (including de-facto spouse), parents, children, and any other family members residing at the same premises as the person.
The following entities are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:
- The Organisation conducting the raffle;
- the Organisation benefiting from the raffle.
The Prize
2022 Toyota Hilux SR5 Dual Cab + $500 Cash* in the Glovebox. Valued at $74,500.
*Due to government regulations, if the winner is from VIC, $500 worth of store cards will be provided instead of cash.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
Maximum number of tickets
46,000 tickets are available for purchase (ticket sales will not exceed a maximum revenue of $372,500) at a cost of $10 each, or:
6 tickets for $50
14 tickets for $100
30 tickets for $200
80 tickets for $500
Draw Details
The Draw will take place at 10am (AEST) on Thursday, 3rd April 2025 at 85 Targo Street, Bundaberg, QLD 4670.
Draw Method
A numbered Raffle Ticket stub will be drawn at random from a barrel. First and only prize will be drawn first.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winner will be contacted by phone and email and listed on this website and the Jeremiah House VPS Facebook page within 3 business days of being drawn. Please check the website and the aforementioned Facebook page for details.
Prize Claim Date
Winner has 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize.
Winners are to contact the promoter in order to claim their prize.
Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
