This year the Annual Appeal is raising funds to make some well needed infrastructure improvements to both our facilities, to be able to provide greater care to our clients. We can’t do it alone— we need your help. Due to budget constraints and the significant expansion of our services to support care close to home, we are asking for support from our wonderful community. By purchasing a ticket in our Summer Raffle you are helping us make those needed improvements. Your support will help keep our health facilities current by funding facility repairs and maintenance, purchase essential new equipment, enhance our health service infrastructure, and ensure that our community has access to the care it needs. Together, we can continue to provide high-quality health services right here in our community.

In Apollo Bay we hope to purchase equipment updates in our Urgent Care Unit including a cardiac monitor, refurbish the hospital site including new kitchen flooring, enhance security measures, plant upgrades including a new electrical main switchboard, roof repairs and window replacement throughout the main hospital and community services building. We also want to install a tracking & hoist system in all patient rooms, and a patient safety monitoring solution system.

In Lorne we hope to refurbish the hospital site including new painting and carpet, renovated reception area, plant upgrade, and roof repairs, ground floor balcony upgrade, purchase equipment for the Lorne Medical Centre, Aged Care facility and Urgent Care; including a Brachial Index Machine, hoist upgrade and a patient safety monitoring solution system for aged care.
