About the Raffle
Promoter
The Ducati Owners Club Raffle 2022 will be conducted by Ducati Owners Club NSW.
Monies raised is to benefit the Royal Rehab Hospital, 235 Morrison Road, Ryde and Ducati Owners Club NSW (ABN 55 806 638 491).
Royal Rehab began in 1899 by pioneering woman Susan Schardt at the age of just 27 years old. Susan, blind from birth, helped a man with disabilities who was destined to be homeless by finding him accommodation and care. Throughout the decades that followed over 61,000 people have turned to Royal Rehab – Australia’s leading provider of rehabilitation and disability support services.
The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.
Beneficiary
Net proceeds of the raffle will be in support of Ducati Owners Club. The Club was founded in 1976 by a small group of passionate Ducati owners with a desire to share their love of Italian motorcycles. Today the Club has over 900 members who share the same Ducati passion. The aim of the Club is to promote and encourage everything the great sport of motorcycling offers and share our knowledge and experience amongst our members and the broader community.
The Raffle starts at 9am AEST on 1st September 2022. The Raffle closes when all 2,500 tickets are sold or at 5pm AEDT on 8th December 2022, whichever is earlier. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Relevant States/Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, Tasmania, and Victoria, aged 18 years or older.
Committee Members, Staff, or Contractors (or members of their immediate family) of the Promoter or the Promoter’s related entities or any of the Promoter’s agents, including RaffleTix, directly involved in the organisation of the Raffle are not eligible to enter.
The Prize
First Prize is a brand-new 2022 Ducati Streetfighter V2 valued at $23,200. Prize is ride away and includes NSW Registration, CTP and stamp duty. If winner lives interstate, transfer of registration will be at winner's cost. Prize is to be collected from Fraser Motorcycles Wollongong, 11-13 Princes Hwy, Fairy Meadow NSW 2519. No transport is included in the prize.
Additional prizes include:
- Bike Butler Platinum Bike Butler Service valued at $5,500
- Race Con Gift voucher valued at $500
- Sportsbike Gift Voucher valued at $500
Total prize pool value is $29,700.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
Maximum number of tickets
2,500 tickets available for purchase at a cost of $50.00 each or buy 5 tickets for $200.00, or 10 tickets for $400.00.
Draw Details
The Draw will take place at 4pm (AEDT) on 10th December 2022 at Royal Rehab, Clive Austin Room, Ryde NSW 2112.
Draw Method
Numbered raffle ticket stubs will be drawn at random from a barrel. First prize will be allocated to the first ticket drawn, second prize to the second ticket drawn, followed by all other prizes in descending order.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winners will be contacted by phone and email and listed on this website and the Ducati Owners Club Facebook page. Please check the website and the aforementioned Facebook page for details.
Prize Claim Date
Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, except if the winner is from the ACT.
If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by midnight (AEDT) on 10th January 2023 a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 12pm AEDT on 13th January 2023, at Royal Rehab, Ryde, NSW 2112. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.
Winners are to contact treasurer@docnsw.org.au in order to claim their prize.
Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
