The Annual Darlington Duck Race 2023

The Annual Darlington Duck Race is the climax event at the Darlington State School Community Market Day which will be held this year on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

The race of up to 650 individually numbered rubber ducks will be held at approximately 12 noon on a stretch of the Albert River in front of our beautiful school. 

A maximum of 650 tickets will be sold and each ticket will correspond to a numbered duck which will be raced (floated) on the river and give you a chance to win some incredible prizes from our Sponsors. This year, we have a total prize pool of $1,814 and have secured prizes for the first 10 ducks to cross the finish line!

We have a maximum of 450 duck race tickets available for pre-purchase online before the event. At the discretion of the event organisers, a further 200 duck race tickets may be sold in person on the day of the event. 

Prizes are not refundable for cash and specific terms, conditions and date limitations apply to gift certificate prizes, as noted.

Lost World Coffee trades locally at Darlington Park Camping Ground every weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 6:30am - 12 Noon, subject to weather and events.
