‘Edgewood’ also suits the needs of a holidaying family but we would ask that small children be closely supervised.

‘Edgewood’ is presented fully equipped with sheets and towels at no extra cost. All you need is groceries and your suitcase. We do not charge a cleaning fee but ask that the apartment be left as you found it. But should you prefer an outside cleaning service we will add a charge of $120.

Denhams Beach is situated 10 minutes from the CBD. Locally there is a small shopping centre and several restaurants. An information folder will be waiting for you recommending local attractions and an extensive listing of restaurants.

In 1974, Harry Luton, ex WWII pilot and former Senior Inspector in the ACT Police Force founded Buvelot Picture Framers from humble beginnings in a garage workshop in Buvelot Street, Weston. 

In 1980, Harry (and sons) moved into premises at 45 Colbee Court in Phillip where we still are today.  Harry’s sons Gary and Rod continued to operate the business with Gary exiting the business around 2013 leaving Rod (and his faithful dog) running things. 

In November 2018 Robert and Nicole Campbell acquired the  the business from Rod Luton ending an era for the Luton family.  We wish them all the best for the future.  With a background in IT and print technology, Robert introduced fine art printing and digital imaging services to the framing business.

We encourage anyone who is thinking about rock climbing or even a new way to train and get fit to come and try it!

Our two gyms in Mitchell and Hume are designed for everyone from complete beginners to advanced climbers. You are welcome to come on in no matter what level you’re at!

Canberra Indoor Rock Climbing allows you to rent equipment, get instruction, and learn basic climbing skills. As you progress, we will recommend a path forward for you to develop your skills even further.

It takes two to tango, or so they say! All our top-rope climbing is done in pairs. We do not have auto-belays. Flying solo? That’s okay too, we have bouldering caves in both of our gyms to get you started. If you’re looking for belay buddies, ask our friendly staff members for advice on how to find people.

We only take bookings for groups of 10+. If you have less than that, you’re welcome to just rock up during our opening hours.
