Tom and Andy, are the faces behind Run for Hope.
Two friends, who are running 110 km (from Benalla to Kyabram) to raise funds for the charity Bears of Hope. Bears of Hope support families through Pregnancy and Infant Loss, a cause close to Tom’s heart as he and his wife Rachel lost their daughter Scout in 2023. 110km is a long way to run by yourself. Tom is honoured to have long time family friend Andy joining him in both the run and fundraising efforts.
Tom’s family were overwhelmed and incredibly grateful for the care that they received from this wonderful charity at the time of Scout’s birth. Bears of Hope is an Australian registered not-for-profit organisation managed solely by a dedicated team of bereaved parents. Their mission is to provide ongoing comfort, support and counselling to parents and families who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, birth and infancy.
Tom and Andy will be completing this incredible run on the 16th of June 2024.
They are hoping to raise $10,000 for the charity and are looking to their incredible local communities to contribute where they can to reach their target.
