About the Raffle
Promoter
The 1 Million Women Solar Raffle will be conducted by the 1 Million Women Ltd (ABN 86 122 248 122) of 20/40 Meagher Street, Chippendale, NSW 2008.
Beneficiary
The benefitting organisation is the 1 Million Women Ltd (ABN 86 122 248 122). Net proceeds of the raffle will be in support of the 1 Million Women Ltd to assist with funding their ongoing activities. 2). The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.
The Raffle starts at 12pm AEST on 9 November 2020. The Raffle closes at 11:59pm AEST on 28 January 2021. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Relevant States/Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria, aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.
Tickets cannot be purchased by committee members, staff, or contractors of any company associated with the raffle, or RaffleTix, or their immediate families, i.e. those living with them.
The Prize
13.2kW solar system with a 14kWh Tesla Powerwall 2 battery (or any bespoke solar solution for your home to the value of $20,000).
The total prize value is $20,000.
Prizes are not exchangeable for cash.
Maximum number of tickets
20,000 tickets available for purchase at a cost of $5 each.
Draw Details
The Draw will take place on Monday, 1 February 2021 at 2:00pm AEST at 20/40 Meagher Street, Chippendale, NSW 2008.
Draw Method
A manual numbered Raffle Ticket hand draw with an impartial person.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winner will be contacted by phone and email and listed on this website and the 1 Million Women Facebook page. Please check the website and the aforementioned Facebook page for details.
Winner will be published in The 1 Million Women Facebook page within 7 days of the draw. For SA, the winner will be published in The Advertiser newspaper on Sunday, 7 February 2021.
Prize Claim Date
Winners have 3 years from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, except if the winner is from the ACT.
If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by midnight on Wednesday, 7 April 2021 a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 12pm AEST on Thursday 8 April 2021, at 20/40 Meagher Street, Chippendale, NSW 2008. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.
Winners are to contact office@1millionwomen.com.au in order to claim their prize.
Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.

There is an agreement with RaffleTix (ABN 24 623 531 340) to promote or conduct this raffle for reward.
