About the Raffle
Promoter
The 1 Million Women Nissan LEAF 100% Electric Vehicle Raffle will be conducted by the 1 Million Women Ltd (ABN 86 122 248 122) of 20/40 Meagher Street, Chippendale, NSW 2008.
Beneficiary
The benefitting organisation is the 1 Million Women Ltd (ABN 86 122 248 122). The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation. 100% of the net proceeds go to 1 Million Women Ltd. 1 Million Women is a global movement of women and girls acting on climate change through the way they live. Raffle ticket sales will help fund 1 Million Women's on going work, campaigns, research into behaviour change, events, the climate action app and will help to empower as many women and girls as possible to use their lifestyle actions, their votes and their influence to act on climate change.
The Raffle starts at 4 pm (AEST) on Wednesday, 13th October 2021. The Raffle closes at 11.59 pm (AEST) on Tuesday, 21st December 2021. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Relevant States/Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, Tasmania, South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia, aged 18 years or older.
Employees and their immediate family members of any company associated with the raffle are ineligible to enter.
Prize
Brand new Nissan LEAF 40 kWh (year of manufacture will depend on availability at the time of draw) 100% electric vehicle valued at $53,190.00 drive-away as at October 2021. Prize includes in Arctic White exterior paint, 12 months registration, 12 months compulsory third party insurance, dealer delivery and stamp duty. The prize will be available for pick up by the winner at their nearest Nissan dealership within 60 days of the draw. Delivery will be arranged for mutually convenient times for the winner and Nissan.
The winner must retain the vehicle for a minimum period of 12 months and agrees to participate in a minimum of two promotional content pieces, including follow-up interviews that will be published by 1 Million Women and/or Nissan for media exposure. The promotional content pieces will be arranged at a mutually convenient time between 1 Million Women and the prize winner.

20,000 tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $10.00 each.
Draw Details
The Draw will take place at 12 pm (AEST) on Thursday, 23rd December 2021, at 20/40 Meagher Street, Chippendale NSW 2008.
Draw Method
A manual numbered Raffle Ticket hand draw with an impartial person. First prize will be drawn first.
Notification and Publication of Winners
The winner will be notified by phone or email within 2 days of the draw, and the winner’s details (name and state only) will be published on the 1 Million Women Facebook page within 7 days of the draw. For SA, the winner will be published in The Advertiser newspaper on Friday, 24th December 2021. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted or the prize is unclaimed by the winner, 1 Million Women will retain the prize for a period of three and a half months after the draw.
Prize Claim Date
Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, except if the winner is from the ACT.
If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by midnight AEST on Sunday, 23 January 2022, a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 12 pm AEST on Tuesday, 25 January 2022 at 20/40 Meagher Street, Chippendale, NSW, 2008. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.
Winners are to contact office@1millionwomen.com.au in order to claim their prize.
Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
